Trouble Brewing is an Irish craft brewery located in Allenwood, County Kildare, that produces a number of ales, IPAs and stouts for the Irish market. The brewery was founded by Paul O'Connor, Stephen Clinch and Thomas Prior in 2009. Trouble Brewing is one of the most recent craft brewers[2] to have featured in the Bord Bía Bloom festival[3] in 2011. Since June 2011, Trouble Brewing has been the first brewery in Ireland to accept payment in Bitcoin.

An Arduino-based brewing control mechanism has been deployed to the brewery, with the software using an open-source usage creative commons attribution share-alike licence.[4]
